Prime Focus has delivered the latest opener video for Extra Innings T20, Sony Channel's coverage of the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) 2012 tournament. The video shows the seven Extra Innings hosts - Gaurav Kapoor, Sameer Kocchar Shibani Dandekar, Archana Vijaya, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Harsha Bhogle and Ajay Jadeja - celebrating the festive spirit of the IPL by performing the song 'Aisa Mauka Aur Kahan Milega' ('Where else will one get an opportunity like this?').
Under the creative guidance of Huzefa Lokhandwala and Prakash Kurup, Co-Founders and Chief Creative Directors at Prime Focus Commercials in Mumbai, and the VFX supervision of Somesh Ghosh and Ravi Sharma, a team of 20 artists delivered the video in just 20 days.

To capture the entertaining and glamorous essence of season 5 of the hugely successful IPL, the video was stylishly shot using different VFX effects. This included the use of a Milo Motion Control Rig provided by Prime Focus Camera Rental, which enabled the team to develop multiple shots of the same character.
The video begins with Gaurav Kapoor appearing in various guises. To execute this, Gaurav's movements were carefully choreographed and captured several times to allow the sequence to be seamless composited in post. Extensive work was done to ensure that the interaction between the different characters appeared smooth and perfectly synced, and to make it look believable and realistic. This took special efforts as the character's positions and movements had to be planned prior to the principal photography, with the actor enacting each set-up carefully, keeping in mind the position of the other characters so as to avoid any overlap. This also included on-set compositing and technical help to ensure that the eye levels matched between the characters.
Additionally, minute work was done to deliver several trail shots of the two female hosts. One such shot depicts Archana Vijaya in multiple forms appearing one after another like a trail. To achieve this, all of Archana's positions were shot separately in high speed (300 fps), followed by extensive offline and online editing, color correction and CG work to complete the sequence.
