Top notch American studio DreamWorks Animation has entered into a new five-year distribution agreement with another well-known banner, 20th Century Fox. Under the terms of the agreement, Fox will assume certain marketing and distribution responsibilities in both domestic and international markets for all animated feature films produced by DreamWorks Animation.

Walt Disney  Investing Rs.1,000 cr in India.The government has approved 10 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals worth nearly Rs1260 crore, including Rs1,000 crore investment by Walt Disney for expanding its operations in India. The $1,000-crore induction of foreign equity is for expansion of the business and making downstream investment in other companies.

Indian M&E industry seen growing 11.8% in 2013
The Indian M&E industry grew from Rs 728 billion in 2011 to Rs 820 billion in 2012, registering an overall growth of 12.6 per cent.
